A frequency counter is an electronic instrument, which is used for measuring frequency. Frequency counters usually measure the number of oscillations or pulses per second in a repetitive electronic signal.

How does this work?
When a signal goes to the Arduino’s input, it divides the signal/ frequency by specific factors and counts the cycles in every second and store it. Then it sent the counter data to an LCD display that shows the decimal form of the frequency given at the input.
